Tarrytown Residence —
Injecting a tone of modernity into an otherwise traditional neighborhood, this residence redefines how a family connects with their environment.
A series of rectangular volumes, clad in long—format black brick and ebony—stained cedar, act as vertical anchors to a long thin horizontal blade roof.
Dueling private courtyards draw the inhabitants outward: a formal garden on the streetside a verdant pool oasis at the rear.
